WALNUT PARK PLACE
Walnut Park Place is a 29-unit mixed-income affordable homeownership development located in the heart of Roxbury’s Egleston Square neighborhood. The project provides critical homeownership opportunities in a community where renters significantly outnumber owners, housing disparities are split along racial lines, and market rate homes are significantly out of reach for the majority of households. In addition to creating affordable homeownership opportunities, Walnut Park Place is constructed to Passive House standards that will keep utility costs low, preserves an existing historic three-family building located on the site, and provides intentional spaces for social interaction and community building.
