Office Funhouse
To many people, the National Science Foundation (NSF) might seem like a mysterious institution. The work they do is vital to the growth of our collective scientific knowledge, but unknown to many. With this project, I aimed to engage the public with the work they do and instill a sense of trust in an institution that we know little about, all while creating radically different types of spaces for different types of work, and workers with different modes of productivity. Spatial organization and qualities of spaces were loosely inspired by scientific discoveries funded by the NSF.
